Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Skateboard Salad. We aim to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Our products are primarily fulfilled through print-on-demand services, including Printify and other print-on-demand services, which come with specific return limitations. Please read our policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

1. Print-on-demand orders

  • Nature of Products: Our print-on-demand providers produce items uniquely once ordered. Due to this bespoke approach, certain return reasons, such as a change of mind or ordering the wrong size or color, aren’t supported.
  • Damaged or Erroneous Products: In cases where you receive a damaged item or one with manufacturing errors, our print-on-demand providers typically offer replacements or refunds if reported within 30 days of delivery. Clear photographic evidence is required for such claims.
  • Refund Process: Refunds due to manufacturing errors or damages are initially issued to our account with the print-on-demand service. We then ensure the transfer to your original payment method.
  • Print Placement Tolerance: For Direct-to-Garment (DTG) products, a minor variance of up to 0.5″ in print placement is acceptable and not considered a defect.
  • Undeliverable Orders: For orders that cannot be delivered successfully, we provide the options for a replacement (with an added charge) or a partial refund.

2. Return period

All returns or exchanges must be initiated within 30 days from the date of purchase. After this period, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

3. Eligibility for return

  • Condition: Items should be unused, in the same condition received, and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase is mandatory.
  • Exemptions: The following items cannot be returned:
    • Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines)
    • Intimate or sanitary goods
    • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
    • Gift cards and downloadable software products
    • Specific health and personal care items

4. Partial refunds

Situations where only partial refunds are granted include:

  • Opened CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records
  • Books with evident wear
  • Items not in their original state, damaged, or with missing parts are not due to our error
  • Items returned after the 30-day period
